Groupage shipping from Canada is the cheapest way to ship smaller shipments (below half a 20ft Container). Shipments are packed and held in our warehouse until we fill up a container bound for the United Kingdom, Australia, China, and Hong Kong weekly.
Palletization is the process of arranging and securing items onto pallets for ease of handling, transportation, and storage. In the context of international movers, palletization is commonly used to organize and consolidate goods for efficient international shipping. Palletization costs more compared to Loose Load as the cost of the pallet itself is put into account but is relatively cheaper than LiftVan.
LiftVan is a dedicated wood-crated box to store your goods. As with the other two services, we will pack and pick up the goods in your house, pack them into a wooden box, send them to your new home, uncrate, and place into your new home. LiftVan shipments are packed and held in our warehouse until we fill up a container bound (Groupage) weekly.
FCL Shipments are the most economical mode once you have more than half a 20ft container worth of goods. This is because we book the whole container for your goods, and there are no freight forwarders involved in the process. There is no additional handling to be done – i.e. The container will be trucked to and loaded at your residence at Origin. It will then be sealed and shipped out. The next time you see it, it will be at your residence at your destination (if access permits). This is unlike LCL shipping, where containers need to get consolidated at the origin and de-consolidate at the destination, and often involves more transport.
